OAK BEAMS AN NTRODUCTION

Oak Fireplace beams are dedicated to guide you through the various options you have in creating your very own oak fireplace beam.

There are a number of dealers situated around the country with a display panel showing the sizes, shapes and colours you may choose from.

The Oak Beams have been Air Dried for a number of years. This means they have matured and the amount of moisture left in the beam has been reduced.

This will significantly reduce the amount of shrinkage you would in comparison get from a fresh sawn or green oak beam.'

The picture on the left hand side shows the oak beams in their seasoned state and from here, a finished beam could look similar to those on the right.

The process takes about 2 weeks from date of order and is accompanied by its own maintenance kit and care instructions.
