The small detailing profile is used to finish areas where a floor meets existing skirting board.

 

Sometimes, the original skirting board cannot or does not want to be removed.

 

As an oak floor always requires an expansion gap around the perimeter of the room, the scotia bead hides this well.

Similar to a scotia bead except its profile is convex instead of concaved.

 

This can either be provided in a matching oak colour or sometimes the customer requires a painted version to match the existing skiritng board.
