"Oak, the king of timbers, strong, durable and reliable..."
Roof Trusses
Using air dried oak, we can now supply bespoke oak roof trusses. Working from an architectural or structural engineers drawing, we have the knowledge and tools to provide a roof truss exactly as you need it.
We can work closely with your engineer and discuss more technical points and details allowing you more time to concentrate on other parts of the build
We are able to produce king post trusses, raised tie or mono trusses depending on the design you want to achieve.
Purlins
To compliment the trusses, sometimes customers wish to expose purlins within the building. This is not always necessary, but a nice feature none the less.
Pictured to the right, we supplied both oak purlins (the long timbers running down the building) and oak common rafters (the timbers running at 45 degrees in the ceiling) to an existing old roof truss.
Every design is different and so we have a few examples at our showroom in Wetherby. Should you wish to talk over your project, please don't hesitate to give a call.
Porches
On a smaller scale, we now manufacture oak porches to order.
These can range from a simple small canopy over the front door to a more elaborate feature containing upright posts and additional brickwork.
We can cost any project as long as you have an indication of the size of porch you need and the sizes of timbers to use.
